 I am a full time mom and part time employee on a tight budget. In a family of artists and musicians, it took me a while to realize that I too was creative; it just looked different and yielded really yummy treats. As my best friend puts it, "She goes into the kitchen, opens her fridge and cupboards and bippidee boppidee boos ingredients together into delicious dishes." 

I love to cook and I love to cook for other people. I started this blog to share my ideas on how to save money while cooking creatively for your family and friends. You will often see recipes that employ "pantry-bustin," aka pulling together what you have in the house to make something awesome rather than having to go to the store.
